about

Orpheus in the Underworld is a contemporary telling of an ancient tale.
A heart-broken musician journeys to the underworld to rescue his beloved from the god of death. On this perilous quest he encounters a horny goat-man, a hip-hopping ferryman and a three-headed death-metal dog. And finally... Death himself.
The story is told through 11 original songs interspersed with spoken-word narrative.

Part Audio book - part LP, Orpheus in the Underworld is a studio recording of the acclaimed solo show by storyteller & musician, Simon Oats.
For maximum enjoyment, lock yourself in your bedroom, put on your headphones, turn out the lights, and press play...
